Funeral director Chen Mo’s childhood friend, Zhao Si, is beaten to death, and his body is dumped back at the funeral home. Chen Mo discovers that Zhao Si’s death is connected to his younger sister’s “suicide” three years earlier. A man and a ghost set out for revenge, but every time Chen Mo helps Zhao Si take care of something, another corpse spot appears on his body. In the end, he discovers that he may have stopped being alive a long time ago.
