He is riddled with mirror patterns and his life expectancy is only twenty-five. His sister was about to die, so he went down to Mirror Lake, broke the anchor point, and changed the lock to himself. The mirror wants his life, and the way of heaven wants his door. He prefers to live his life as the key that opens the door - a chess game between two lives, holding a piece against the sky; deep in the mirror ruins, he lights the lamp.
