They watched the sea on the rooftop, listened to the tide on the seawall, shared their thoughts with each other, and their love slowly grew. But fate suddenly distanced them. Gu Xizhou traveled to a foreign country to accompany his sick father, leaving only a note and the promise of harmonica music. In the next six years, Lin Wantang devoted his thoughts to photography, photographing countless waiting people and the sea, and held a seaside photography exhibition; Gu Xizhou was protecting his father while building bridges, writing unsent letters in a distant land. Separated by mountains and seas, the two grew up separately and kept the promise they made when they were young. After going round and round, Gu Xizhou finally returned after repairing the Gui Bridge. Fulfilling the promise of watching the snow in the snow, we meet again on the seawall and make up for the late time bit by bit. The story finally ends with a wedding on the seawall.
