Do I Really Have to Cultivate This Immortal Way?

Old man: “Which cultivation university did you apply to?” Boy: “Senior, I applied to Medicine Valley Vocational Institute of Technology. They guarantee job placement after graduation. I'm good at everything from alchemy to treating illnesses.” The old man shook his head. “Who told you to study medicine? Don't you know that encouraging people to study medicine brings down a lightning strike?” The boy turned pale. “Then what university should I apply to?” The old man blurted out, “** University.” The boy: “That doesn't sound very respectable...” The old man: “What do you know? It's a top university in the cultivation world, with a 99 percent employment rate!” The boy: “But I heard it's a private junior college...” The old man snorted. “Private? That's called a joint-stock education model! Our school has three campuses and four cave-heaven industrial parks, and partners with all sorts of universities, including Sword University, Artifact University, and Pill University. Don't believe rumors, kid.” The boy: “Then... are the entrance requirements high?” The old man: “We don't look at grades. We look at potential.” With that, the old man took out his phone and faced the camera. “Brothers watching this! Great news! ** University opens its special admissions tomorrow. The first hundred students even have a chance to get half their tuition waived!” The boy was stunned. “They'll actually waive tuition! Senior, how do I apply?” The old man smiled. “Scan the QR code below. Anyone who enrolls through this video will get a mysterious welcome gift when school starts!” In front of the television, Lu Feng, who had failed the college entrance exam, stared at the screen and silently took out his phone.
