One hundred and thirty years after the Cataclysm, only the remnants of civilization remain. Inside the high wall is the city, and outside the high wall is the city. Liu Jin is a seventeen-year-old refugee in Jiji. He lives by setting traps in the wilderness in exchange for supplies. There is only a little girl Maodou who cannot speak by his side.
