The Fragrance of Healing Herbs

A carefree young woman versus an irritable young nobleman in a sweet romance. Both are inexperienced in love. Set in an imaginary world, it's a love-hate relationship. On her way to get married, she runs into trouble and loses her husband. Newly widowed with nowhere to go, she is taken in by the Li family. The Li family's second master has a terrible temper and suffers from a feverish condition. Fan Liuer only wants to be an honest, respectable woman, but to her surprise, the fiery-tempered Second Master Li takes an interest in her. At first she refuses, but he offers her far too much to turn down. She decides she'll make her escape once she's gotten enough out of him. Li Chenbi never expected the helpless Fan Liuer to actually run away. So what if she did? He can always find her. But just when he finds her, her long-dead husband shows up too.

Qi Weiming: "You stole my wife, so I'll steal yours too. That way, you won't sleep easy for a single night."

Li Chenbi: "Did you ever marry her? Did you consummate the marriage? Did you register her with the authorities? You did none of those things, so what gives you the right to call her your wife?"

Fan Liuer: "Stop arguing, both of you!"
