Thousands of years ago, Earth's civilization was nearly destroyed in the Alliance War. The survivors formed an alliance and disappeared into the back of history in the name of "lawful ones" to guard the fire of civilization for generations. Thousands of years later, outside the barrier, the demons once again smelled the breath of this planet; within the barrier, splintered organizations, comrades on different paths, and human forces colluding with the demons were tearing apart the defense line from within.
