One morning in 1490 AD, when the sunshine of the third year of the Hongzhi reign of the Ming Dynasty shone to the east, on the American continent far away from the ocean, a soul from a different time and space had awakened. His name is Zhongli. One moment he was immersed in the light and shadow of the Internet cafe, and the next second he was transported to this Indian boy. He knew clearly that two years later would be the day when Columbus discovered the New World. What followed was the crushing of firearms against cold weapons, and the massacre of the indigenous people by infectious diseases. It is the end of a civilization that has lasted for thousands of years. But he wanted to find a glimmer of hope in this destined historical trajectory. In seven hundred and thirty days, he led five warriors to either re-enact the tragedy of the annihilation of civilization, or to ignite the fire of hope deep in the jungle and forge his own torrent of steel.
