Qin Su, a refugee from Baidi City, was put on a prison boat and sent down the river to Jiangling, thousands of miles away. He thought it was an exile, but he didn't know that he was being pushed into a mineral puzzle that spanned two cities. Underground in Jiangling, three hundred monks turned into mining slaves, working day and night to dig veins for Marquis Wanli. Underground in Baidi City, seventeen people were nailed in a sealing formation, waiting for a redemption that would never come. Two cities, two mineral veins, were cut open by three people forty years ago - whoever collects the contract fragments will be the only owner of the mineral veins. Qin Su held a faded wooden plaque in his hand, with his own name engraved on the back. That was the key that Chu Chenzhou spent three years in prison and one thousand and ninety-five carvings in exchange for it. He walked backwards along the mine vein, followed by three hundred miner slaves who had just crawled out of the ground. The seed mark in his palm cracked every time he used it. There are seven cracks, and the mineral veins change owners. As for the Marquis Wanli of Jiangling City who had just been deposed and cultivated by him, the nine-ring exit bell of Wu Jiu, the lord of Baidi City, had already rang. This is a story about "the light boat has passed the Ten Thousand Mountains" - but the poem is about returning home after being pardoned, and what Qin Su wants to cross is the Ten Thousand Mountains built by three hundred lives deep in the mines.
