Exploration of Alien Life

In the future, humans discover that there is life on a distant planet, so they send an advance survey team to explore local life and study the evolution of organisms. During this period, they will use logs to observe living species, establish a basic classification system, archaeologically search for extinct or extremely small amounts of ancient fossils to speculate on evolution and kinship. Later, they will write about a bunch of organisms, and these scientists will classify these organisms and create some of their own scientific names. Of course, don't forget that the theme will still have many adventure stories.
