There is no exit from Old Town and there is no end to the rules. Ember is the anchor, the person marked by the fragmented world; Lin Yan is the recorder, writing the concealed truth with a pencil. They have been breaking the old town's game - but the pieces have never been completely broken. They are scattered and stuck in the memory like nails.
