During the troubled times of the Republic of China, there was a painting workshop hidden in the ancient town of Yanyu that had been abandoned for many years. The owner of the shop has learned a mysterious ancient method that can trace human skin and reshape the face. Decades ago, a generation of famous actresses and late mothers, who were excellent in both sex and art, were framed and died of hatred. She was trapped in this old house with her obsession. On long windy and rainy nights, the lamps and shadows of the old house are swaying, misty figures often pass by the windows, and a faint drama echoes in the empty corridor. Decades of grudges have surfaced, love and hate are entangled, and old sins abound. The owner of the shop stepped into this old dream that spanned half his life. On one side, there was the sad ghost between yin and yang, and on the other side, there was the evil human heart that cannot be avoided in the world of mortals. A song on the stage made the singer cry, half a human skin, describing the joys and sorrows of troubled times. Is it a resentful spirit seeking life, or is it a tragedy caused by greed in the hearts of the world?
