Dreamland: Before Waking Up

When Shen Gui came to Dreamland for the first time, he just wanted to find a place to sleep. But there is no real night here, and there is no so-called exit. There is a city with lights on all the time, a breakfast shop that opens only in the early morning, a train with no end in sight, and many people who look no different from reality, but who are always a little strange. Dreamland is not as scary as imagined. There will be endless rain here, a bus will run at night that does not exist in reality, and some people will quarrel with the neighbor table for a long time over a bowl of noodles. What Shen Gui is best at is telling a cold joke when no one understands it, and then pretending that he is not embarrassed at all. But as time passed, he found that he seemed to have been here many times. The people I meet by chance, the familiar streets, the old photos that occasionally appear in my memory, and a diary that has been with me since I don't know when, all point to the same question. Why did he come to Dreamland? What's even stranger is, who is the person he has been looking for? In dreams, some stories will end, some people will leave, and some things will never be answered. And when Shen Gui finally reaches the end of the story, he may discover that the place he has always wanted to wake up from may not be the real reality.
