Interstellar Scavengers: Kunlun

My name is Chen Mo, a lunar scavenger of the Kunlun Project. My job is to pick up garbage on the back of the moon - to be precise, to recover the remains of alien civilizations scattered on the moon, dismantle, classify, archive, and then continue on the next mission. The job is dangerous, boring, and occasionally fatal. But I like it. Because behind every abandoned creation, there is a silent history. Until the day a moonquake ripped open the floor of an ancient impact crater. I found a palm-sized black cube at the bottom of the pit. Flawless and not belonging to any known civilization. I took it back to base and the specialist activated it. There are no superweapons, no energy revolution, no code for immortality. There is only one sentence: "We were just like you." It is a "diagnosis of civilization" from millions of years ago. The last words left by a civilization whose technology far exceeds that of human beings before its destruction. It accurately describes how they were driven to collapse by misuse of technology, class divisions, and internal warfare. And every step of their disintegration is being repeated on the earth. The forces of various countries moved upon hearing the news. Some people wanted to seal it, some wanted to destroy it, and some wanted to seize it at all costs. There were also unexpected malfunctions inside the Kunlun base. I'm no longer just a trash picker. I need to think about a question first - Should this mirror be seen by all mankind? The price of the answer may be that every inch of the moon I have seen is stained with blood.
