Taoist Heart in Troubled Times

This world always likes to give people a way. Where you were born, what family you grew up in, and which path you will take, it seems that there is a book that has already decided it for you. When I was young, I was also approved. When I was ranked in my horoscope, I was the only star of evil. I believed it when my mother left, and I believed it even more when my father left. Guarding the empty house, guarding the lamp, and reading the scriptures written by my father, I believed so fiercely. But later I realized that the criticism was about the sky above my head, but the area in my heart was not included in the criticism. I often think about what a person should believe, abide by, and seek in this troubled world, and I have been asking this question my whole life. Someone taught me how to read and recognize medicine, and put a little spark of "Tao" into my hands; someone taught me to study things to gain knowledge, and opened a crack in my eyes to see the world. One thing is old, the other is new, one is south and the other is north, but in the end it leads me to one place, asking me to open my eyes to see the world, and to keep the strong balance in my heart no matter how chaotic it is. People can't live for thousands of years, but some things have to be passed down from generation to generation. It's the order. Ye Yicao knows how to live in troubled times.
