From Seventh Place to Being Laid Off

In 2002, when I was fourteen years old, I graduated from the township junior high school to seventh place at the municipal level. My relatives invited me to dinner in a private room of the restaurant. As I sat there, I heard someone talking about my name next door. That was the proudest moment of my life so far. Later, I got admitted to a good university, was admitted to graduate school, and then dropped out. In 2014, I rushed into the Internet to catch up on its best years. In the summer of 2026, I was laid off, but the story was not over yet.
