749: Chaos Apocalypse

Gu Yan is a delivery rider. A bone in his left arm ached. He checked the cost of osteosarcoma and closed the page. He has a six-year-old sister who doesn't ask questions he can't answer. One rainy night, an electric car was knocked off the bridge into the river by a bolt of lightning. Someone picked him up and told him that those symptoms were not illnesses. There is an older thread in his blood, and that thread is pulling him into an institution he has never heard of: Bureau 749. He thought he was just going to be a handyman, but he walked into a wall that responded. On the training ground, he thought he had found a spot where he could stay. But he didn't know that his best friend would stand in front of him as an enemy in the duel at the end of the semester.
