Silk Road Notes

This is not a cheating story. A young man who was unemployed just after graduation in the twenty-first century fell into the body of a fourteen-year-old boy in Talas in the tenth century. He has no prophetic memory to know the direction of history, nor does he understand the art of smelting, military or emperor. Carrying the fear of being wiped out of the world silently one day, he started from an old account book, checked the deficit, rebuilt trade routes, connected caravans with insurance policies, and changed the fate of slaves with contracts. Roads, money chests, inns, convoys, mines and cities are gradually connected to each other in his world. The once-unnoticed young man, relying on force, money and contracts, stirred up the turmoil in Central Asia. What he ultimately built was not an empire that would always obey him, but an order that could still function in his absence. He had no plans in his life, but there was only one gap that had not been filled for fifty years.
