Folk Anecdotes

Hello! I am Lao Chen, and I have been collecting weird folk legends for 20 years. I ran through the mountain villages in the southwest, the islands in the southeast, the Gobi desert in the northwest, and also walked through the old forests in the northeast. I have more than 30 notebooks and several hard drives with tapes and audio files. Over the years, some of the stories were slowly told by the old man while sitting on the kang head smoking a dry cigarette, some of them I heard accidentally in a teahouse in a remote county, and some... I encountered them myself. Today, I compiled what I have accumulated over the past twenty years and wrote it into a narrative novel. This is not a simple compilation of stories, but a thread of these taboo stories from the perspective of "I" - a collector of folklore.
