Back to the Third Day of the Apocalypse

Zhu Baojin binds herself to a Doomsday Upgrade System and receives a mission to kill the Insect Mother and end the apocalypse.

But even after she kills the Insect Mother, the apocalypse doesn't end.

The people she cares about appear before her, one by one, as corpses.

Given another chance, Zhu Baojin humors the System while bringing everyone she cares about home like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

Rumor has it there's an Eden in City Y, where the plants don't lash out at people, and giant pythons and tigers guard the home. Life there is like a paradise on earth.

After settling her family in, Zhu Baojin goes out to look for the Insect Mother. When she hears what people are saying, she hurries back home.

But when she gets there, the pink flower wall outside her courtyard is drenched in blood-red blooms, flowering in all their vivid glory.
