The Person Who Kills Time

The watch on Shi Yan's wrist is called "Heng" and carries the only real time in the universe that cannot be tampered with. He has fallen from tall buildings one hundred and seven times, and has been trapped in endless time regression: there are always people trying to rewrite his death, and saving him from mid-air time and time again, but they have never been able to end his fate. In countless reincarnations, he was the only one who kept all his memories intact and endured the repeated tortures clearly. When he was desperate, the main universe made a contract with him: to eliminate all those who tampered with the timeline in exchange for a chance of survival. From then on, Shi Yan, who was extremely greedy for life and fearful of death, was forced to become a cleanup hunter wandering outside of time, wearing shackles, in order to end the illusions of others in exchange for his own survival. Everyone he hunts is an ordinary person trapped by obsession: a good man who uses time to look back to protect stray cats, an old man who clings to the afterimage of his dead wife, and top-notch people who rely on time filters to maintain a perfect personality. They try to tamper with time, fill up the regrets, love and dignity of life, and indulge in the perfection of self-deception. Only Shi Yan could see clearly with a cold eye that all obsessions were just a lonely one-man show. As he traversed the illusions of all sentient beings and continued to clean up the chaos of time, his ultimate destiny was suddenly revealed: the current main universe was originally the cleanser of the previous term. The fate of all hunters has already been determined - after everything is eliminated, they will lose their human bodies and turn into the cold rules of the universe. Those who are most afraid of death struggle to survive all their lives, and finally rush to annihilation on their own initiative. This is a fatalistic tragic song about time, loneliness and self-dissolution. Every gentle and cruel ending hides an eternity that no one can understand.
