Catching up with Ling Xiao

A monkey from Huaguo Mountain who doesn't even have a name, holds a wooden stick and sets out from the East China Sea to cross the troubled times to the West. There is a God called Erlang Guankou in Bashu, and Sanqing appears looming on Qingcheng Mountain; the wind and sand in the Hexi Corridor bury the bones, and the Buddhas and monsters in the Western Regions are indistinguishable; Tianzhu Lingshan has thousands of temples like a forest, and the Buddha who defeated the Buddha is sitting on the lotus platform, his eyes are empty, and he can no longer see the Great Sage Qitian. The path to obtain sutras has been cut off. Buddhism only recognizes the fruition status and does not recognize the Monkey King. The Wanderer traveled westward, slaying monsters, meeting gods, asking Buddhas, meeting sentient beings, and getting closer to the person he had looked up to since childhood. No one believed that he could actually reach Lingshan Mountain. But back then, no one believed that a stone monkey could cause havoc in the Heavenly Palace. The Buddha said that turning around is the end of the road. But for the monkeys from Huaguo Mountain, the shore is behind them, not to the west.
