This is a peaceful world without deep-sea ships. The ship girl was originally the incarnation of a World War II warship that awakened after sleeping on the bottom of the sea. She was born to fight against deep-sea ships, and fought side by side with the admiral in the "Guardian Palace". In 2013, a middle-aged social worker summoned them into the popular online game "Ship Soul Record"; thirteen years later, on the eve of the game's shutdown, they unexpectedly came to reality. But in reality, there is no deep sea, no war, and no enemies - only collection text messages, mortgage loans, and a human society that treats them as "humanoid strategic weapons" to guard against. After arriving, another memory gradually appeared in their minds: the artillery fire and sinking of the real World War II. The two memories were torn apart from each other, making them remember that they were fighting for protection, but also that they were just tools of war. They are the most powerful weapons, but they have become the most useless and painful existence in a world that no longer needs weapons.
