Seal the Cookies in the Oven

I am a person who loves the intersection of dusk and shadow. It was not sunny today, so I sat down by the shallow bay and watched the water ripples crumpling the sky - those lights and darks were like intermittent flashbacks in my memory. I have long learned to nod gently to every farewell. Time is like an inexplicable tide, pushing me through the muddy water. But I always secretly crush those painful years, mix them with flour and sugar, and bake them into a plate of warm cookies. In the silence of the oven's ding, I heard the twist in the melody. Then I thought, there is always an encounter, slowly drifting towards me with this tide.
