Brilliant Red Diamond

I mainly wrote this for my own OC. I have the whole story planned out, but I don’t know how to put it into prose. Updates are incredibly slow. Legend says the ruler above the highest heavens cast nine red diamonds down into the world. They represented greed, restraint, fairness, selfish desire, power, the soul, reason, life, and karma. Only a small number of people could earn the diamonds’ recognition and obtain what they wanted from them. Far too much time has passed since the age when the legend began, but life is still just as harsh. Three fugitives conceal their identities in a remote village. Though the villagers look down on them, the family is happy, since they no longer have to spend every day on the run. That is, until an unexpected incident occurs.
