The Devil Says No

There has never been a blue sky here. Gray is the sky’s only color, and the only backdrop to life. He gets beaten, scavenges through garbage, and is chased by debt collectors, like a rat living in a gutter. Then one day, he decides to trade his body for a chance to see the blue sky. Wanzui died beneath the moon, leaving behind only a rolling eyeball and the red eyes of a black cat. They say it was a demon. But is that really what a demon looks like?
