Entropy's End

What are we fighting against? What are we afraid of? Our future... Will it have an end? If it has no end, that would be best. But what if it does? What happens after we reach the end? Will we... die? Will civilization... cease to exist? After such a grand and epic journey, will the final outcome be... to vanish into nothing? No! We refuse! Since the future is unknown, anything is possible for us! Even if we don't know whether the end exists! Even if we don't know what happens after the end! We know we can do something before the end arrives, and that we must do something!
