The Maelstrom of Power

This is an era of stark contradictions. Thanks to the rapid advance of technology, humanity is just one step away from cyberpunk and interstellar travel, and people have developed very different ways of thinking. Those at the top, with wealth and power, want things to stay as they are. Some at the bottom, uneasy with the status quo, are secretly planning to achieve mechanical ascension and fight back against the powerful. The world shouldn’t be like this, but when everyone pulls in the same direction, this is what you get.
