Echoes of 1988

When I was writing this book, I kept thinking about a question. If one day you could go back in time with all your memories, what could you change? Many people think it can. Buy lottery tickets, buy a house, pick up girls, counterattack. Just feel good and that's it. But I don't believe it. Because human memory can be deceiving. What you remember is the result, not the process. You remember that house prices will rise, but do you remember which year they rose, which month they fell, and which regulation in between drove people crazy? You remember that a certain person later became successful, but do you remember how much money he owed, how many people he knelt on, and which river he almost jumped from? We all think we are prophets. In fact, we can't even remember the details of our previous lives. So I wanted to write about a hapless guy. He was reborn with a head full of futures, only to find that these futures were like a box of expired lottery tickets, none of which could be used. The more he struggled, the more he realized that it was not that he was not smart enough, but that the world was against him. Why? Is he worthy? He doesn't deserve it. But what's behind him is terrifying. This is "Echoes of 1988". A story about "precognition is a curse". A story in which you thought you could control your destiny, but in the end you found out that your destiny was yours and someone else's. Not sweet. Not brainless. It cannot be read as a cool article. But if you're willing to take a gamble, I guarantee you won't be able to come back starting with the third volume.
