Edwin is the most inconspicuous orphan in Pendor - he is lame, steals chickens, lives in a shabby village, and doesn't even have a pair of decent pants. Until a dying knight gave him a griffin badge and told him: "You are the last bloodline of the Pendor royal family, and you are the hero who was prophesied to unify the world."
