During the Republic of China, strange things happened one after another in the remote Huaishu Village: a child had a high fever, but always said that there was a man walking with his head bowed outside the window; a mother who died unjustly returned in the middle of the night, and a woman who was forced to death by domestic violence only sought her husband's life after her death... The three surnames Zhou, Zhao, and Wu have been intermarried in this village for generations. On the surface, everything is peaceful, but behind the scenes there are countless old grudges.
