Sangbizhuang Fengyunlu

Sangbizhuang originates from Ji'an Prefecture, Jiangxi Province, a village with a history of nearly 600 years deep in Yongfengwei, Xinghua, Jiangsu Province. At the end of the Hongwu period, the ancestors planted grass to enclose the land and started from scratch on a swampy wasteland. From then on, the legend of this village began. In the next 150 years, Sangbizhuang experienced the swordsmanship of private salt dealers and the blood and tears of the anti-Japanese war. It also gathered the academic thoughts of Zhejiang Eastern Neo-Confucianism, Jiangyou Wang Neo-Confucianism, Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism, and Taizhou School. A village that was only established a hundred years ago actually produced a legendary figure who rose to the rank of No. 1 Scholar and became the chief minister. This is not only a legend in unofficial history, but also recorded in official history. However, the biggest secret of Sangbizhuang is hidden in another book. When later generations opened the masterpiece "Journey to the West", they found that the dialect, geography, official system, alchemy, and Buddhist principles could all be found in Sangbizhuang. Perhaps this is where China's greatest novel about gods and demons came from.
