Broadsword General Liu Baozhuan

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Liu Bao, a Huarong young man, suffered a disaster when he was 16 years old: his father Liu Long died for his country in Dongping, Shandong Province to fight against the Jin Dynasty. Only an ancestral copper buckle was left, with the word "loyalty" cast on it. The young man joined the army and surrendered to Yue Fei's tent. Armed with a big sword, he fought in Jianghuai and Zhenjiang to resist the enemy. He was known as "General Big Sword". Yue Fei died unjustly, Qin Hui took over the country, and all loyal and righteous people were devalued. Liu Bao was also relegated due to slander and was exiled to far away places. During the reign of Shaoxi, he returned to his hometown and lived in seclusion for seventy-five years. He stayed out of office all his life and kept his name anonymous in his later years. His descendants felt that their ancestors had been wronged and were disappointed with the court, so they chose not to serve. They only guarded the copper buckle and a big sword. In the rivers and lakes, they passed down a piece of loyalty that has not been written down in the history books. Based on genealogy and folk memory, this book recounts the life of this general: Xinghuo, Congzheng, Zhenjiang, exile, seclusion, and fame. People were buried in Jianli Yanerwan, and swords were buried in Huarong Mozhuang. The sword can be broken but the ambition cannot be taken away. This is the "knife tomb".
