Endless Life

The cataclysm came without any vision. Just overnight, an unknown and strange force quietly spread. The infected person loses his mind, abandons human feelings, and is left with only bloodthirsty instincts. He turns into a walking zombie, neither dead nor stiff, afraid of having his skull crushed and his body burned. The world calls it the Eclipse. Cities are in ruins, roads are cut off, water and electricity are in ruins, and there is no light from the sun or the moon. All the prosperity of the past was buried in the dust, leaving only broken walls, rotten trees and rotten bones. The laws and morals of the old world have all collapsed, ethics, education and conscience are worthless. Only the cruel iron law that the strong live and the weak die is left in the world. In troubled times, some people set up strongholds, claim power by force, and enslave the weak to seize supplies; some people walk alone in the wilderness and survive alone, not trusting any human kindness in the world; some people lurk in dark corners, scheming, and plundering the weak to keep themselves safe. The so-called survival is nothing more than grabbing a morsel of food and fighting for an inch of survival in a hell surrounded by predators and unpredictable people. There is no justice, no mercy, every breath is an opportunity stolen from the hands of death.
