She’s Such a Drama Queen

[Happy Ending] [Slow-Burn Romance] [Opposites Attract] [Campus] [Urban]

Theatrical girl x delinquent boy

Their first encounter took place when Lin Mo'an was playing a game where she rated passersby, and accidentally rated Chen Zhi's shoes.

"Hey, don't go around judging other people's shoes."

Chen Zhi's eyes brimmed with contempt, but all Lin Mo'an had said was that his shoes were too brightly colored.

...What a petty guy.

That incident dropped Lin Mo'an's impression of Chen Zhi to zero.

Their homeroom teacher rearranged the seats, and the two became classmates. But on their first evening study session as deskmates, Chen Zhi made Lin Mo'an cry. It was only after they spent more time together that she understood his distance was all because of a misunderstanding.

A truly awful misunderstanding.

Once they cleared things up, they gradually opened their hearts to each other. Lin Mo'an discovered that Chen Zhi was much more interesting than she'd imagined.

Summer vacation should have been a time of joy, but Lin Mo'an said to Chen Zhi:

"Chen Zhi, I'm leaving. I'm going abroad, maybe for the rest of my life."

During those four years in London, whenever Lin Mo'an crouched on a street corner and cried, a person in a sun doll costume would appear, holding a sign that said:

Do you need a hug?

Lin Mo'an would always smile and shake her head, but she couldn't stop her tears.

One early morning, on a whim, Lin Mo'an clicked on Chen Zhi's profile and saw that he'd changed his signature from blank to:

"That bittersweet tear at the corner of your eye: are you ready to embrace the sun?"
