Daming Porcelain Jian

Shen Jian, a museum artifact restorer, traveled through time and became a helper at the bottom of the imperial kiln factory in Jingdezhen during the Ming Dynasty. Faced with the eunuch's fifteen-day death order - 300 pieces of sacrificial red glaze, the kiln pit was filled if it could not be fired. He challenged the thousand-year-old secret techniques of official kilns with his modern knowledge of glazes, and risked his life to try firing in a dead kiln that no one dared to use.
