Peter Ho: Splicing of Four Famous Works

After Peter Ho finished filming his last night scene at the Hengdian studio, he unexpectedly found himself trapped in a surreal space made up of text fragments from four famous works. The peach blossoms of Huaguoshan in "Journey to the West" are floating outside the window of the Xiaoxiang Pavilion in "A Dream of Red Mansions". And every time he tries to leave, a new memory fragment of the famous character will flood into his mind. He is both the actor of "Bu Jingyun" and the incarnation of Xiang Yu, but in this misplaced world, he is forced to face Lu Bu's Fang Tian painted halberd, Wu Song's sword, Lin Daiyu's flower burial hoe and Sun Wukong's golden cudgel at the same time. He must constantly travel between the boundaries between character and self, fiction and reality, and find an exit that can put all the broken stories into place. Otherwise, he will be forever imprisoned in a text maze woven by lines, shots, and audience memories, and will never be able to return to the real Hengdian set. This is a surreal adventure about actor identity, classic IP backlash and the essence of existence. What Peter Ho has to fight is not a specific villain, but all the "others" frozen in the camera, as well as the fate of those masterpieces that have been defined by millions of people.
