Stars Fall on the Spy Sea

The Heavenly Wolf and the Weaver Girl, two stars caught in the same game.

Every step a blade, aimed straight at the enemy’s heart.

Synopsis:

He is Sirius, and she is Vega. They descended to the mortal realm to undergo tribulations.

He was born into a banking family and trained at a military academy, a heaven-blessed talent. But with the country shattered and war engulfing the land, he cast himself without hesitation into the wolf’s den. As an undercover agent and a spy, he carefully maneuvered through the Japanese military police, inching the tip of his blade toward the enemy’s heart.

She is an underground Communist courier. On the surface, she is a silly girl who grew up beneath a loquat tree and does nothing but paint and tease cats. In secret, her hands stitch wounds in pools of blood, while her pages carry intelligence through the dark. She calls him “Heavenly Wolf,” and he calls her “Weaver Girl.” With artillery fire raging across the whole city between them, they fall in love without ever being able to acknowledge each other.

The work’s theme:

The deepest protection is not a dazzling light in the highest heavens. It is the willingness to fall to earth to protect a lamp, a city, and the woman you love.

In a time of turmoil, love and duty spring from the same root. He protects his country, and he protects her. She delivers intelligence, and she gives him her heart.

The brightest stars are not in the sky. They shine in the hearts of those willing to descend into the mud.

Some falls are simply another way of finding your rightful place.
