Chinese Showbiz: From Classical Dance Prodigy to Movie Star

Years later, Tang Zhi had become the undisputed number one in commercial value in the domestic entertainment industry. He was a young movie star whom film and television directors lined up to work with. Whenever Tang Zhi wondered how he had achieved such success, he always traced it back to an ordinary day at the High School Affiliated to Beijing Dance Academy. Fragments of films from the future had suddenly appeared in his memories. Tang Zhi had seen Ren Min and Liu Haocun, but not himself. Well, well! That meant those two shady guys with their innocent-looking faces had left him behind and gone on to become big stars in the entertainment industry! Remembering that day, Tang Zhi couldn't help but smile. Who could have guessed that the original motivation behind all his success was simply the secret hope that he and his two friends could keep living together in the future? By the roadside near Beijing West Railway Station, Liu Haocun paused, then lectured him: “Whatever university you go to in the future, whether you work as an actor or become a dancer, Ren Min, you, and I will all have new lives of our own. We won't see each other that often. Like before, living together every single day, that's just impossible. How childish.”
