Journey to the West: Sui Sanzang

He transmigrates to the Eastern Land of the Great Sui and becomes the ninth incarnation of Jin Chanzi, awakening the Pilgrim System.

Every time he checks in at a place along the journey west, or survives a trial, he receives a reward.

Leaving White Horse Temple, he gets the Rebirth Mantra, a cybernetic sutra.

Reaching Chang'an, he gets the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Skill at the thirteenth level.

First trial, “The Sui Monk Travels West”: he gets the Great Might Heavenly Dragon Mantra at full mastery.

Reaching Shuangcha Ridge, he gets the Martial Soul “Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus.”

Second trial, “The Three Demons of Longyou”: he gets a Three-Turn Golden Elixir.

Reaching Two Realms Mountain, he gets the Desolate Ancient Sacred Body.

Reaching Eagle Sorrow Ravine, he gets a Dragon Essence.

Reaching Guanyin Monastery, he gets an imitation Brocade Kasaya, a top-grade acquired spiritual treasure.

Third trial, “Elder Jinchi”: he gets the Flame Mantra.

Many years later.

Sun Wukong: “I'll never forget that day. Master shouted, ‘Great Might Heavenly Dragon!’ Then he punched me to the ground, grabbed me by the throat, and asked if I wanted to help him build a new Western Heaven or go to the Western Heaven myself!”

Guanyin: “I was so foolish. I knew Jin Chanzi had great fortune and wisdom and would become a Buddha. I just never knew he intended to establish a new Spirit Mountain.”

Chen Chan, the “New Present Buddha, Supreme Sovereign of the Three Realms, and Daluo Golden Immortal”: “A little cheating doesn't count as cheating. Everything I've achieved today is thanks to my own hard work.”
