Graytide Pioneers

After the cataclysm, the gray tide that enveloped the continent changed countless creatures. The city was reduced to ruins, and the beasts gave birth to bone armor and crystallized organs. Humans, who once stood at the top of the food chain, could only hide underground and wait for the gray tide to recede briefly. A very small number of survivors awakened their powers during the disaster. Seventeen-year-old Lu Xiao can sense and break the force veins inside objects, but his ability is very weak and he must use special shock nails to be effective. In order to take care of his four-year-old sister Lu Ya, he struggled to survive by hunting small mutant beasts. A near-death hunt allowed Lu Xiao to obtain the crystal marrow left by a high-level mutant beast, which also transformed his powers for the first time. Afterwards, he discovered old city archives, resonance weapons and a still-functioning underground control center in the ruins, and learned from them that the destruction of human civilization may not have been an accident. From a young boy struggling to survive alone to a pioneer leader who gathered refugees, Lu Xiao began to use the knowledge of the old world to restore agriculture, smelting and weapons manufacturing. He defeated human-eating predators, took in survivors who lost their homes, tamed dangerous mutant beasts, and established new settlements on the land covered by the gray tide. However, as his powers continue to evolve, Lu Xiao gradually discovers that those creatures regarded as monsters by humans may be the true chosen successors of this planet.
