Lawyer: My Legal Revenge on a Dating Scam Begins!

September 12, 2005. Zhang Wei is reborn in Haizhou City as a rookie lawyer at a top-tier law firm. From the start, someone tries to make him take the fall, but he unexpectedly activates a card-drawing System, where each card unlocks a different skill. As long as his clients are satisfied, he can draw Gratitude Coins and skill rewards. His very first case is a living nightmare. The honest Qin Chuan goes on a blind date, only to be falsely accused of getting handsy with his date. She demands 300,000 yuan to take down her post, threatening to have him thrown in jail if he refuses! The other lawyers all advise their client to take the loss, saying that calling the police will settle things quietly. After taking the case, Zhang Wei uncovers hidden details. Determined to make his client completely satisfied, he eventually finds crucial evidence. “Your case isn’t just a civil dispute. It could also…” The anxious, honest Qin Chuan presses him: “What else could it be?” “If she made up the story and forged evidence in advance, then used the same scheme to defraud multiple people, she could be charged with fraud.” The client is stunned. “Lawyer Zhang, you mean… I can keep my job, and we can get her sent to prison too?” Zhang Wei closes the case file, his expression calm. “Sent to prison? We’re simply handling this according to the law!” “And let me correct you: it’s not just her who’s going to prison. Not a single matchmaking agency in the whole city will get away!” From a small case nobody cared about to a shocking crime that grips the entire nation. Years later, facing this man who could always use the rules to back his opponents into a corner, the entire legal world finally loses its cool: “Who the hell let Zhang Wei become a lawyer?”
