Exposed at Last: My 3,000-Year-Old Yinglong Can’t Stay Hidden

Zhou Liang woke up one day to find that he had actually become a true dragon!

An ancient Yinglong, golden-scaled from head to toe, with a pair of wings on its back, coiled deep in the mountains of the south!

Three thousand years ago, he presented the River Chart to Fuxi and paid an audience to Nüwa.

Two thousand years ago, he slew Chiyou and Kuafu.

A thousand years ago, he drew a line across the land with his tail to help Yu the Great control the floods.

After three thousand years of cultivation, the water serpent became a jiao, the jiao became a dragon, the dragon became a horned dragon, and the horned dragon became an Yinglong.

At last, he had reached the pinnacle of the dragon race!

Afterward, he secluded himself in the mountains and marshes of the south, with clouds and rain for company and thunder for a neighbor.

That was until the crew of a TV program called Close to Nature barged into his territory.

When reporter Lin Zhiyi first saw those enormous golden-red wings unfurl like clouds hanging from the sky, the microphone slipped right out of her hand and into the mud.

On camera, a colossal creature covered in fine scales, its spine lined with spines, slowly poked its head out from the mountainside.

Its head was large and long, its snout sharp and teeth keen, its eyes as big as cartwheels, and its raised brow ridge like a mountain crest.

When the footage aired,

the whole world found out overnight:

A living Yinglong was in the southern lands of the Dragon Kingdom!

The military arrived, then the research institutes, and forces of every kind came rushing at the news.

But they had no idea what they were up against: the ultimate form of the dragon race!

The first God of War of antiquity!

A creation-level divine beast that had once slain Chiyou and captured Wuzhiqi!

Zhou Liang couldn’t be bothered with these ants.

He was waiting for the things deep in the southern mountains and marshes to awaken.

Beast clans that had lain dormant for millennia, sealed descendants of ancient gods, primeval beasts sleeping beneath the sea…

This world was anything but peaceful.

And he would take the form of an Yinglong and sweep away every enemy in the world!
