I Become a God in Twelve Days, but the Sky Screen Exposes Me!

[Decisive and Ruthless] [Road Survival] [No Beef] The sky screen descends upon the world, announcing that Gu Ming will gain godlike powers in twelve days. Until then, anyone who kills Gu Ming will inherit all his power! Overnight, the world descends into chaos. Conglomerates offer a ten-billion-dollar bounty, politicians deploy troops to surround the city, and top assassins and hunters from across the internet come after him in full force. Even his usually kind neighbor quietly points a shotgun at his back. Everyone thinks killing an ordinary man will send them straight to the top. But they don't know that Gu Ming was once a top disaster risk assessor. As the whole world closes in, Gu Ming gains one of the Twelve Talismans every day. The price is that the sky screen will reveal his abilities and fatal weaknesses to the entire world. People rejoice, convinced they've found the weakness that will surely kill him. But when trackers are killed by traps of their own making, and armed squads slaughter one another fighting for the “final blow.” When a fully armed conglomerate skyscraper collapses in a chain of explosions... Only then do they realize in terror that the restrictions made public are all meat grinders Gu Ming deliberately set up by working backward from cause and effect, luring them straight into his trap! On the twelfth day, the countdown reaches zero. Gu Ming strides across mountains of corpses in the desert, lets the halo of divinity crown him, then aims his gun at the camera broadcasting to the entire world. “Those who didn't attack can live.” “My people across the world, prepare to welcome your god!” The twelve days come to an end. The world doesn't get a merciful god, only the judgment of a tyrant!
