Ember of Cause and Effect

The underlying laws of the universe are not physics, but cause and effect. The occurrence, development, and end of all things are carried and driven by an invisible and qualityless "river of cause and effect." The river of cause and effect flows endlessly, from the past to the future, from cause to effect - this is the fundamental logic of the world's operation. However, three thousand years ago, a cataclysm called the "Great Crack" tore apart the river of cause and effect. The river of cause and effect breaks, silts up, and flows backwards here, forming countless "causal vortexes" and "causal deserts." From then on, the world began to run awry—— ·Some people sow good causes but bear bad consequences. ·Some people get something out of thin air without giving anything. ·Some people are doomed but struggle to survive. ·Some people should be ordinary but are chosen by fate. Cause and effect are no longer fair, and the world falls into chaos. People who can perceive, manipulate or even rewrite cause and effect are called "karma masters".
