The Dajing court suffered from serious shortcomings, the treasury was empty, and the lost land in northern Xinjiang was difficult to recover. The chief minister had no choice but to make a ridiculous plan and set up a complicated conspiracy to fool everyone. The government forcibly recruited five people from the market: storyteller Shen Yanzhi, accountant Qian Weishen, Su Yan who is obsessed with farming, veteran Zhou Ge, and lawyer Lin Xiaotang who disguised himself as a man.
