Reborn: I'm Not a Master Chef

Modern life + food

In a small seaside town, there is a strange little restaurant. It's tiny, yet it has turned down Michelin's three-star rating several times.

The ingredients are simple: egg fried rice, clear-broth ramen, and crisp, refreshing kimchi. Yet customers line up for a taste and never want to leave.

They don't take reservations because the owner can't be bothered to remember names. They don't take suggestions because the owner believes his cooking is the best.

Most outrageous of all, they limit the number of customers each day because the owner only works six hours a day.

There's nothing customers can do but wait in line and curse, then wolf down everything on their plates as soon as the food arrives, saying, "So good!"

Oh, and I hear the owner's wife is beautiful. If you're lucky, you might see her gently bringing a plate to your table.

As for the strange owner, a reporter once interviewed him and said he should run for Chef God. But he just waved his hand.

"I'm no Chef God. I'm just a guy who cooks..."
