Star Magnifying Glass

He is an astrophotographer and has photographed stars all his life, but has never seen them with his own eyes. Because he was born with severe myopia, the nebulae in the lens had to be enlarged in post-production to see clearly. Colleagues laughed at him for deceiving himself, and he said: "Stars are already out of reach, but I photograph what I can see." In his later years, he became blind, but asked his grandson to point the telescope at the sky. He touched the barrel and said, "It's spinning, I know, the stars are spinning." His grandson asked him what the stars looked like, and he said, "Round and bright, like your grandma's eyes." That night, his grandson saw Jupiter through the telescope for the first time, and it was as round as his grandfather said.
