Give Me a Window Flower

She is a paper-cutting artist. Every New Year's Eve, she cuts a window grille and sticks it on the window of the lonely old man across the street, never leaving her name. The old man would say to everyone he met: "My daughter is here to see me." After twenty years of this, after the old man passed away, she found twenty window grilles stacked neatly on the old man's window sill, each one decorated with plastic and the year written on the back.
