If You Are Asked to Be a Priest, Why Are You Holding a Crowbar?

On Levi's first day as a priest in a small border village in another world, "cursed water" was pouring out of the church floor, and the villagers knelt on the ground and shouted about the devil. He knelt down, dipped in the water, and smelled it—rust, hydrogen sulfide, something wrong with the groundwater. Then he melted down the diocesan crozier, struck a crowbar, and pried open the church floor. The water receded. Villagers chanted for a miracle. He was expressionless and said in the most solemn tone: "Oh, my poor children, your Lord has just purified this land in the most orthodox way."
